Welcome new associate Dr. Amelia Attwood

I did not want to grow the practice to include associate clinicians (a space issue, there is 1 office only) and I was happy for the practice to just be me. Dr Attwood, Milly, was the Assistant Psychologist who worked under my supervision back in 2020. I was incredibly impressed by her clinical abilities back then, I would occasionally ask her opinion on a clinical related issue despite the fact that I was much more experienced than her. I supported her to apply for the clinical psychology doctorate, writing her a glowing recommendation. We have kept in touch and over the last few years during her training I have said to her that I would take her on as an associate if she ever wanted some work. Well, Milly qualified in the autumn and has recently approached me to take me up on my offer. I was thrilled as she had a natural clinical ability, even before she qualified with her doctorate. Milly will be taking on a small number of cases working on Monday (my day off) under my supervision.
