Fees
My fees and pricing are within the typical range for local Clinical Psychologists with my level of experience.
Please note that other therapists may charge more or less depending on their skills, level of training and clinical experience. Please also note that some individuals may be eligible to free mental health services through the NHS and you can seek advice about this from your GP if this is your preference.
Initial Assessment
£180
A 90 minute information gathering session. This will include gaining an understanding of presenting difficulties, the background to these difficulties, as well as likely a developmental assessment (for children and young people particularly).
Therapy sessions
£120
A standard hour psychological therapy appointment
Cognitive (Intelligence) Assessment
£1000 as a stand alone piece of work
Other Assessment
This includes an initial 80-minute assessment session to gather relevant background information, a two-hour (approximately as this can vary) assessment session with the young person/adult, a formal written psychological report and a 50-minute follow-up session to discuss the results and answer any questions.
£120 per hour (including report writing)
Other types of assessment can be completed such as achievement, executive functioning, etc. Please contact me to discuss. Please note: while I have significant neuropsychological expertise, I do not work solely as a neuropsychologist therefore if your child has complex neuropsychological issues it is best to contact a Neuropsychologist. Additionally, if your concerns are entirely around school performance it may be more appropriate to contact an Educational Psychologist.
Other time spent
£120 per hour
This includes further assessment, report writing, attending meetings or other significant time spent
Professional Clinical Supervision
Professional supervision is available for clinical psychologists and other mental health professionals. Supervision is offered in my office or online. Please contact me to discuss.
Other information
I have professional healthcare recognition with private health insurers AXA PPP Healthcare, AVIVA, BUPA, CIGNA, Aetna and Vitality Health and WPA. Please contact me to discuss other private insurance.
A sliding fee scale, in exceptional circumstances, may be available. Please contact me to discuss.
CANCELLATION POLICY
I require at least 48 hrs notice if you want to change your appointment, otherwise you will incur the full charge.
